What Do You Want
Your Students to Learn?

  • Your students will explore, discuss, analysis, and critique issues.
  • The scavenger hunt gives you a fun way to extend and expand the lesson. You can direct it to expose kids to your preferences, while allowing them to have some flexibility and develop technology skill.
  • Every time they visit a web site, your students are working on reading comprehension as they look for and collect information, process and apply that information, and learn how to properly cite references.
  • The computer skills your students use will include:
    • Simple (in the form of easy key word searches).
    • Copying and pasting pictures and text from the Internet.
    • Citing sites where information was found.
    • Working between two programs.

Even if your students are new to computers they will be successful!
