A webquest is an inquiry-oriented activity in which most or all of the information used by learners is drawn from the web.
You can create your OWN WebQuest (in Word with hyperlinks) (link to parts of a webquest) and your school technologist can easily put it on the computers in a lab so that when your students come into the lab, they can simply open the scavenger hunt and begin exploring!
But there are THOUSANDS of excellent WebQuests already done, available on the Internet.
To search for one, go to your favorite search engine (link here), type in “webquest” +topic. When you find one you would like to use, click on “favorites” and save the link so you can easily access it in the future.

Check out these favorite webquests of mine. As you explore, note the group cooperation as each individual in the group is held accountable for their own exploration and sharing of information.
