A scavenger hunt is a list of questions with guiding links to the answers—ideal for exploration of a topic or to get students to think deeply about a concept.
You can create your OWN scavenger hunt (in Word with hyperlinks) and your school technologist can easily put it on the computers in a lab so that when your students come into the lab, they can simply open the scavenger hunt and begin exploring!
But there are also excellent Scavenger Hunts already done, available on the Internet.
To search for one, go to your favorite search engine (link here), type in “scavenger hunt” +topic. When you find one you would like to use, click on “favorites” and save the link so you can easily access it in the future.
